Why I do

what I do

and what can you expect in working with me.

From Binge-Drinker to Mind-Body Enthusiast

I was never much of a mover. In all honesty, I spent a good portion of my teenage years and 20’s coping with life by binge-drinking and smoking. Along came college, and somehow the intensity of life at that time yelled at me to Do. Something. NOW. Change something in my daily habits.

I started jogging. Moving regularly and intensely for the first time at age 23. And it felt amazing. I could immediately feel how regular movement intensity, care and detoxing did WONDERS not only for my body, but also for my mental state. It was one of those pivotal moments that didn’t allow me to return to my old habits.

One thing led to another, and soon I also began climbing. Enjoying almost every weekend outdoors hiking. Quitting smoking in the meantime. Introducing a steady Yoga practice. My body and soul were buzzing and alive. And into my life crept an intriguing practice…AcroYoga. I dabbled with it here and there, not knowing that it snuck under my skin without me even realising it.

Making Movement my Professional Purpose

Fast forward to 2015, I get a job as a translator in Luxembourg, strolling into town eager to start both life in a new country and continue my AcroYoga practice. Little did I know that there was none in Luxembourg. Well…what’s a girl to do other than start teaching it myself in order to build a community?

One thing led to another and soon I found myself devoting every single free moment to learning and growing as a movement teacher and coach. In the 5 years that followed, I qualified as a Hatha Yoga, AcroYoga, Embodied Yoga Principles and Feldenkrais teacher, as well as an Embodied Facilitator, and well on my way to become a Social Circus Trainer.

What’s in it for You

As a result of this path, I offer you today an array of movement-meets-psychology classes and events to choose from.

Embodied Yoga classes in which we use archetypal and classic Yoga postures to take the Yoga practice “off the mat” and apply it to our daily life.

Inversions&Balances classes, as as well as Fit&Strong classes, in which we use the intensity of strong movements and playfulness to create lasting changes in the body – giving you confidence to introduce other healthy changes in your life.

Awareness Through Movement classes in which we use very soft, slow and subtle movements to learn deeply about how we move and how we can move with more ease. A very gentle way of learning to be kinder to ourselves, while creating lasting, positive impact on our nervous system.

And last, but not least, Embodiment and Sleep Coaching sessions, in which we use the body as the main resource to learn about our behaviours in daily life that hinder either quality sleep or quality relationships and peace of mind, and to “rewire” ourselves to form new, healthier habits that stick.

Join me. Meet a new side of yourself through movement, connection and awareness.
